From The Open Studios Private Preview Gala

And what a party it was!

Last night, several patrons of the arts were the first to see representative selections of the artists participating in this years Open Studios in San Francisco.

Along with all of the mingling, good food and drink, VIP attendees were treated to music and dance performances as well.

There was also a live auction to raise money for ArtSpan's programs in the San Francisco School District.  The Shadow was also the recipient of one of the prizes.

As the night moved on, a DJ took over and provided music.  It was definitely a night to remember.

For those of you who may have missed last night's affair, there will be a public reception today from 4-7 p.m. at SomArts Gallery, 934 Brannan Street, in San Francisco.  This affair will be free.  The Shadow will be in attendance.
