A Free House for the Taking

Most of you are familiar with the online advertising site Craigslist. If you are not familiar with it, you might want to go there to see all of the wonderful stuff you can get there. Just click here to get a taste of what you might get.

The Shadow has come across a news story that can only be done on Craigslist.

In Danvers, Massachusetts, Kel and Julie Schevis are offering a free house on Craigslist. You heard right -- they are giving the house away.

There is a catch however:

The house is in need of a new kitchen, updated electrical wiring, plumbing, and assorted other repairs. That alone will run you about $200,000. The new owner also must pay to move the house from its present location. At a cost of at least $50,000.

Despite all of this, about 30 people have expressed interest in the house.
