It's A Sweep!!!

About this time last night, many of you knew that the Democratic Party took control of the House of Representative once again -- the first time since 1994. The Democrats needed to take 15 seats to get the majority -- instead they took 25 seats. Quite a feat, The Shadow must say.

But wait....there is more.

The Shadow has just found out within the past hour that the Senate is now under Democratic control as well. This gives control of the Congress back to the Democratic party and severely weakens President George W. Bush in the final two years of his presidency.

And if that was not enough.......

Today it was announced that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was stepping down from his post. After 6 long years, the president finally realized that the country is not happy with his policies in Iraq.

The Shadow urges all to stand behind House Speaker (to be) Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader (to be) Harry Reid to put this country back to the respectibility that we enjoyed during the presidency of Bill Clinton.
