The Shadow Opens Mission Open Studios

Tonight, at the invitation of artist Ann Simms, The Shadow visited the opening receptions of the Mission Open Studios. Over 300 artists are showing at this Open Studios!!

The Mission Open Studios is taking place in the following art galleries this weekend:

• Art Explosion, 744 Alabama Street
• Developing Environments, 540 Alabama Street
• 1800 Bryant Stree Studios
• Project Artaud, 499 Alabama Street
• The Blue Studio, 2111 Mission Street
• Root Division, 3175 17th Street
• Workspace, 2150 Folsome Street

This exhibit is very promising. Along with The Shadow's ally Anne Simms, The Shadow met with several artists at several venues during the opening reception tonight. You will be very pleased with the range of arty and the talent of the artists who have opened up their studios for you.

The Mission Open Studios will continue Saturday and Sunday, May 12-13 from 1100 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Shadow will revisit the Gallerys on Sunday -- do look for him there!!
