The Shadow Greets Eric Bohr

It has been awhile since The Shadow has come to you, but he has been busy. And don't worry -- the art show are still happening and we are still attending them.

On January 22, The Shadow made another visit to Otis Lounge in downtown San Francisco to celebrate the artwork of Eric Bohr in a solo show there.

The Shadow met Eric in mid-2007 and was very impressed by his work. Eric's artist statement is as follows:
My paintings come from the process of making connections between form and symbol, the kinetic and the still. I intend dialogue and subjectivity with the placement of ambiguous text and the subtle manipulation of color and form. By incorporating eastern and western artistic ideas I seek to connect viewers with deeper collective truths while exercising my own sub-conscious. Beauty and meaning combine to create an unplanned aesthetic in the painting when I am successful in my work.

This show has unfortunately ended, but Eric can be contacted through ARTWorkSF.
